Cooking not your thing? There are other ways to help
We welcome financial donations to Joan's Table. Donated funds are invested in food security for the 31 tenants that live in The Herring Cove Apartments and The Rebuilding. This includes purchasing ingredients for meals, as well as items that support meal preparation and enjoyment. To date, financial donations to Joan's Table have exceeded $28,500. There are two ways to make a donation: online or cheque.
Online
Online donations to Joan's Table can be made via the Shelter Nova Scotia website. Please direct your donation by selecting 'Joan's Table' from the Fund dropdown menu. A charitable receipt will be automatically generated by Shelter Nova Scotia.
Cheque
Please make a cheque payable to “Shelter Nova Scotia, Joan’s Table”. Send or deliver
205-3770 Kempt Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3K 4X8. A charitable receipt will be mailed to you.
